Traditional piecing and foundation paper piecing (FPP), combine in a vibrant modern quilt.
This quilt is speckled with mid century-inspired paper pieced stars laid out in a modern diamond pattern. The quilt is a generous lap size at 62in x 66in. A basic knowledge of FPP is necessary. This class includes hands-on construction of the components of the quilt. The quilt will not be completed in class; however, you will leave with the skill knowledge necessary to complete the project.

Prep work before class:
Make 20 copies of the Starburst Template at 100% of FPP paper
From each of the 20 Starburst fabrics, cut eight (8) 1" x 6" rectangles
From each of the background fabrics, cut eight (8) 5 1/2" by width of fabric ( WOF) strips and thirty four (34) 2 1/2" by WOF strips
Put each of these into separate Ziplock bags clearly marked Starburt 51/2" and 2 1/2"
