Learn to Tat

Join local tatted lace teachers Lois Banyai and Vickie Green from the "Tea Time Tatters" group for a hands-on lesson in basic tatting.

What is tatting? Tatting is a knotted lace technique dating from mid 1800 easily updated for use in our fast paced century. Often associated with doilies and hanky edgings, it is so much more than that.  Easily portable, all that's required is a shuttle to hold your thread and a ball of thread.

The class project will be a small tatted flower and maybe a tiny butterfly or two as embellishments for a sweet note card.

Your class kit will include thread, tatting shuttles and a pre printed card and is included in the class fee.
