  Mitering corners,
And much more.

Materials needed:

sewing machine with a new needle
1/4" foot if you have it, nice but not necessary
6x24 ruler
thread of your choice, does not need to match your practice piece unless you want it to
Scissors
Rotary Cutter
Pins or clips
1/2 yard of fabric for bindings
Squares or rectangles of small quilt sandwiches, ( top and bottom fabric, batting or insulbrite in between), size of square can range from 5" to 12".  This is a great use for those quilting practice pieces or orphan blocks. Squares/rectangles do not need to be quilted, just use a bit of fabric glue stick so the layers stay together. You should come away from class with coasters, mug rugs triets, pot holders, ect. depending on the size of your starting pieces.

Optional Supplies which Christina will demonstrate:
Easy Angle or Creative Grids folded corner clipper
The Binding Tool
Stripology Ruler
